Hampden FNLMatch Previews | It’s been a week of celebrations and standout performances across the netball courts, with two of the competition’s finest reaching impressive milestones.

Camperdown’s star goal-shooter Nell Mitchell hit the 200 Open game mark last weekend—a remarkable achievement that reflects her longevity, consistency, and impact in the goal circle. Her contribution to the Magpies over the years has been immense, and the milestone is a testament to her dedication to the game.

This weekend, Cobden’s Jess McGlade will notch up her 100th Open game. A reliable and versatile player, Jess has been a cornerstone of the Bombers’ lineup for years, showcasing leadership and skill week in, week out. Both Nell and Jess have been tremendous servants of their clubs and should be incredibly proud of their milestones.

On the court, Cobden sent a strong message to the rest of the competition with a jaw-dropping 84-goal effort last week. It was an attacking masterclass, with Sophie Hinkley and Jaymie Finch putting on a clinic in the goal circle. Their movement, accuracy, and chemistry were near-flawless, leaving defenders with few answers.
