Match Previews | UNBEATEN in its run to the A-grade netball finals, Mitiamo faces Pyramid Hill in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL’s second semi-final on Saturday in Serpentine.
The Superoos and Bulldogs will play on court one at Gadsden Finance Serpentine Reserve from 2.30pm.
It’s a re-match of the ’24 grand finalists on day three of the Valley’s finals series.
As Mitiamo had a rest last weekend, Pyramid Hill scored a 57-41 win against Newbridge in Saturday’s qualifying final at Marist College in Maiden Gully.
The Abbey Battersby and Jess Kaur-coached Mitiamo has dominated many matches this season.
Mitiamo’s streak includes a 65-55 win on Pyramid Hill’s court at Mitchell Park in round three.
When these teams met again in round 12 the Superoos had to fight incredibly hard for a 59-57 victory at Mitiamo’s John Forbes Oval.
As Mitiamo stayed on top of the ladder all season the Chelsea Emmerson, Simone Edgley and Laura Herbert-coached Pyramid Hill teamed superbly for a 12-2 record.
On Sunday it will be Newbridge and Bridgewater fighting to keep their season rolling.
