SEVERAL teams will be fighting to continue their unbeaten run in this weekend’s play across the Heathcote District and Loddon Valley netball competitions.

 

Five clubs have line-ups yet to be defeated in 2013.

In the Loddon Valley, Bridgewater has won all 15 matches in C-grade.

Bridgewater will warm up for the finals with a home game against Newbridge this Saturday.

The Inglewood Blues have dominated in C-reserve.

Inglewood’s record will be under threat in the round 18 clash with the third-placed YCW at Backhaus Oval in Golden Square.

The top-five in A-grade is settled.

YCW has a win-loss tally of 13-1 and has the bye this Saturday as its drawn to play Inglewood.

Mitiamo will warm up for the finals action by playing at Malone Park in Marong.

The fifth-placed Newbridge plays at Bridgewater.

Calivil United, third, will start favourite to take the points on Bears Lagoon-Serpentine’s court.

Pyramid Hill has the bye.

Match of the day in B-grade will be third against fourth as Newbridge takes on Bridgewater.

The 17-under team from Pyramid Hill has gone through the home-and-away series unbeaten after last Saturday’s 21-goal win at Mitiamo.

In the Heathcote DNA, it’s the second last round before the finals series begins.

Premiership favourite for A-grade, Lockington-Bamawm United will start hot favourite to chalk up its 15th victory when it plays at Elmore.

The rivalry between White Hills and Heathcote will be renewed in their match on the Demons’ court at Scott Street.

Mount Pleasant takes on Leitchville-Gunbower at Toolleen, with Huntly to play at Colbinabbin.

North Bendigo beat Heathcote by 30 goals last Saturday.

The red, white and blue moved to second on the ladder, but has the bye this round.

Undefeated teams in the Heathcote District Netball Association are Mount Pleasant, B-grade; Huntly, B-reserve; and Lockington-Bamawm United, under-15.
