Bannockburn was hit hard by injury and was restricted to just seven fit players.
East Geelong came out fast and strong all over the court, controlling the game from start to finish.
East won each quarter with ease, with Keisha Guilmartin leading the way in defence, backed up by Sonia Harris.
Erica Schippers led the way around the centre court, with some accurate feeds into the East goalers.
Melissa Bragg was outstanding in defence and in goals for East.
Bannockburn stuck it out to the final whistle, never giving up and was competitive throughout.
