League review | The ANZAC Round of fixtures across Outer East Football Netball competitions saw another suite of great matches across the league, with the highlights being the Anzac Day clashes of Wandin v Woori Yallock and Upwey Tecoma v Olinda Ferny Creek.
Monbulk and Narre Warren went up against each other for the first time, with the Magpies taking the chocolates on both the football field and netball court. Seville and Healesville recorded good wins over Yarra Glen and Belgrave, while Division Two also saw some good wins and upsets across football and netball.
In the women’s football competition, Yarra Junction recorded its first win of the season while heavyweights Upwey Tecoma and Olinda Ferny Creek went head-to-head in what proved to be a good indication of where both sides are positioned at the moment.
