OuterEastFNl22 squareLeague Review | Week Nine of action across Outer East Football Netball was the final chance for clubs to get a run in before the Queen’s Birthday weekend, with a great mix of results seen once again.

Woori Yallock moved back up to third on the premier division ladder with its defeat of Pakenham, while the netball counterparts of Pakenham made it four in a row.

Gembrook Cockatoo played on its home deck at Orchard Road for the first time in three years and there was plenty to celebrate for the senior football side with a win over Belgrave.

Broadford Yea were in the contest for much of its clash against Alexandra which saw great signs that they are a competitive unit, while Powelltown knocked off Kinglake at home with a nine-goal win.

Thornton Eildon took win number two for the year with its defeat of Monbulk while Healesville, Olinda Ferny Creek and Upwey Tecoma each enjoyed good wins in the women’s football competition.
