Media Release | Football & Netball on the Mornington Peninsula will head into 2023 with a new League name and a slight change to the popular logo.
The recent Annual General Meeting of the MPNFNL saw current club President’s vote to now be competing in the Mornington Peninsula Football Netball League.
Football on the Peninsula since 1908 has seen many iterations surrounding it’s member clubs & relevant league names, with the merging of the Mornington Peninsula FL & Nepean FL in 1986 giving the framework for the competition we have today.
The MPFNL name now includes the Netball component of the competition which has been a vital addition of all 22 member clubs for the last decade across the region.
