Warragul Gazette | Longwarry's hot run of form will be put to the test when they host the undefeated Buln Buln in round 18 of Ellinbank and District football.
The Crows have not lost since going down to the Lyrebirds in round seven, the run including impressive victories over fellow finals-bound sides in Lang Lang and Ellinbank.
While still in fifth place, the Crows remain just percentage behind second-placed Neerim-Neerim South in a logjam of sides on 11 wins looking to secure a double chance.
Buln Buln present the Crows their biggest challenge yet, having taken all before them to have already locked away the minor premiership, being four wins better than any rival.
Interest will surround whether the Crows can get closer than the 49-point margin last time they met in another test of their credentials to compete at the pointy end of the season.
The five could be set if Neerim-Neerim South collect the points as expected when they travel to take on Nilma-Darnum.
Fading hopes would have the Bombers rely on the Crows to drop its remaining three games, while also making up a percentage gap of more than 40.
