STRATFORD flexed its muscle against reigning East Gippsland football premier Paynesville.
The Swans kicked away after a tight first term to win 14.13 (97) to 2.8 (20).
Leading by a goal at quarter-time, the Swans kicked five goals in each the second and final term to set up the impressive 77-point win.
While Josh Kiss was kept goalless, Keiran O'Dwyer stepped up with four majors, ably assisted by fellow tall Kaine Kerton and Jack Bacon, who again hit the scoreboard from across half-forward in a best-on-ground performance.
Providing midfield grunt in recent weeks, Rod O'Keefe maintained his fierce attack on the ball in the forward 50, finishing with two majors.
Ruckman Sam Noone continued his good form, again giving his midfielders first use, with Jesse Broadbent and David McLay taking full advantage, while Lachlan Channing did as he pleased.
Tim Hawkins and Lewis Bolton were also prominent for the Swans.
Youngsters Brayden Radford and Darcy Thorpe showed plenty of promise for the Gulls, while Ryan Holland, Jason Waddell and Damian Ashcroft did their best to stem the tide.
Seagulls hold spot
LAKES Entrance gradually wore down Lucknow to win 13.10 (88) to 8.13 (61) and hold its spot in the top four.
The Seagulls held an 11-point buffer at quarter-time and while they held the advantage for most of the day, were not able to shake a persistent Magpies outfit.
Seven goal kickers helped Lakes Entrance kick a winning score, with the Seagulls well-served by Joel Waters, Andrew Phelan, Dylan Paten, Jesse Beha and Adam Walker, who kicked two majors in the absence of Andrew Stevens.
Brenton Martin kicked three goals, while Nick Fowler booted two majors to be among the Magpies' better players.
Ryan Halford, Ashley Smith and Jake St John were other valuable contributors, with the Magpies also boosted by the inclusion of former Sale reserves captain Luke Bates.
ORBOST-SNOWY Rovers had the bye.
