Goulburn Valley FNLClub News | Help support the Rochester FNC and thier local community through buying a memebrship for a local community member or family.

At the Rochester Football Netball Club we want to make a difference to our community. We know that many players, members, supporters and townspeople are suffering the long-term impacts of last October’s floods. The majority of our town is displaced, with people living in caravans, finding a room with friends and family, or being forced to relocate out of town. Our shared spaces have been affected, with common meeting areas such as the library, community house, Men’s Shed, and hospital still out of action. We are walking the long road to recovery and we don’t want anyone walking it alone.

RFNC is a sporting club, but we are about more than footy and netball, we want to bring people together and provide a safe, inclusive space for everyone – even if you’ve never been to the footy before. We believe sport is an incredible vehicle for social connection. Whether it’s cheering your team on, having a beer, or just dropping in to be amongst people who get what you’re going through, we want you to feel welcome here.

With that in mind, we’d love to invite those living outside our community to ‘Shout a Membership’. Our aim is to raise enough money so that any local person who wants to attend home games – even if only a few times - can be given a membership card. It’s a small gesture that might make the difference in bringing an isolated person closer to their community, and we’d be so grateful if you would support us.

Visit the link below to check out the options, which include shouting a family or single ticket, as well as the option to buy one for yourself (we’d love to see you!).

Ticket prices have been discounted to encourage your generosity, because together, we are stronger.
