OvensMurrayFNl22 squarev2Match Preview | Round four will be completed this Saturday in the SSA&A OMFNL with just three matches due to the season-opening game being played way back on April 1.

The April Fools Day clash between Lavington and Wodonga was plucked from round four to kick start the season and as it has turned out – kick-started Wodonga who are unbeaten.

Match of the Round status will be focused on the McNamara Reserve where the Alpine Saints will be chasing its first win for the season under new coach Craig Millar. Their opponent will be the high-flying Wangaratta Rovers who have won three nail-biting contests to also be unbeaten just like Wodonga.

The Rovers average winning margin this year is less than a goal and have come from behind in all games to continue their recent ability to win the close ones. Speculation has been rife that former Saints coach Jake Sharp may make a return from a knee injury – his inclusion would be huge for the young Saints who had the bye last week.
