A triple premiership player with the Brisbane Lions, Akermanis and North Melbourne great Anthony Stevens will be guest speakers at the Bloods' function on August 1.
An AFL Hall of Fame inductee this year, Akermanis is pictured holding the premiership cup after the Lions' completed the first leg of a grand final hat-trick in 2001.
South Bendigo will play Kangaroo Flat at the QEO on August 1.
