Bendigo Advertiser | MARYBOROUGH Football-Netball Club will celebrate 135 years, as well as the Magpies’ 1965 premiership, with a reunion next month.
The reunion will be held on Saturday, August 8.
The Magpies host South Bendigo in the Bendigo Football League, which will be followed by the reunion function at the Carisbrook Harness Racing Complex.
“The committee is looking forward to welcoming the many greats of yesteryear back home to Maryborough for the 135-year celebrations of our proud club,” Magpies president Terry Hillier said.
Maryborough won its 1965 flag in the Ballarat league.
