Bendigo Advertiser | EAGLEHAWK’S Matt Gretgrix joined a select group of Bendigo Football League forwards of the past 21 years with his bag of 11 goals against Kangaroo Flat last Saturday.
Since 1994, Gretgrix became just the seventh BFL player to twice kick a double-figure haul of goals against the same opponent in one season.
Gretgrix’s bag off 11 goals followed his haul of 12 against the Roos at Canterbury Park in round four.
The only other players since 1994 to have kicked at least 10 goals against the same opponent twice in a BFL season are Grant Weeks (three times), Justin Maddern, Steven Reaper (twice), Steven Oliver, Matt Sexton and Dean Henderson.
