Ballarat FNLMedia Release | The McDonalds Ballarat Football Netball League are pleased to announce Chris Stuhldreier as the senior football coach for the 2019 Worksafe Community Championships. Stuhldreier who is currently involved with Bacchus Marsh is excited by the prospect of coaching some of the best players the league has to offer.

“I think the key ingredient is passion, I bring passion and that’s what I’m looking for in the players too” Stuhldreier said. “We want guys that want to play at the highest level and are proud to represent their club and their league.” Stuhldreier has a distinguished career in football having coached and played for several years across Victoria.

In recent times Stuhldreier has been involved with the Bendigo Bombers at VFL level as well as the Vic Metro Under 18s. Stuhldreier is well known throughout the country Victoria football scene, having kicked 100 or more goals across several leagues. Stuhldreier was named in the GVFL Team of Champions and has also been inducted into the hall of fame. McDonalds Ballarat FNL Operations Manager Shane Anwyl was elated to have Stuhldreier onboard.

“The BFNL are very excited to have Chris as the Senior Interleague Coach for 2019,” Anwyl said. “He brings a wealth of experience to the role from his playing days and as a coach, and we are confident that he will do a great job. We hope that Chris’s appointment will encourage the best players across the BFNL competition to be involved in the 2019 Senior Interleague campaign.”

Ballarat FNL had the privilege of playing Goulburn Valley on the MCG last year and unfortunately went down however, they will have a chance to redeem themselves in 2019 when they host the Hampden FNL at Mars Stadium in Ballarat. It is hoped that the BFNL can continue to build a strong interleague program as they look to secure another win at the Worksafe AFL Victoria Community Championship.
