The Redbacks slammed on six straight goals to the Demons tally of 1.3 in the opening term at Wedderburn’s Donaldson Park.
By half-time the Redbacks led 67-25.
A seven-goal margin became almost 13 by the last change after Wedderburn added 5.5 and kept the Demons scoreless in the third quarter.
The Boe Bish-coached Demons fought back to win the last, 38-32, but it was the Sam Barnes-coached Wedderburn which led 20.14 (134) to 9.9 (63) at the final siren.
