League Review | Marong key forward Brandyn Grenfell has charged to a season tally of 111 goals after he kicked 15 in the Panthers’ 14th round win against Newbridge in the Bendigo Bank Loddon Valley FNL’s senior footy clash on Saturday.
Grenfell started the day on 96 and had reached the century mark by the 10th minute of the clash on the Panthers’ turf at Malone Park.
The league leaders scored 6.3 to 1.1 in the first term and then racked up quarter goal tallies of seven, nine and 12 to complete a 218-19 victory.
A highlight of the day the Gregg brothers, Corey and Ben both playing their 100th senior game for Marong.
