League Review | Hay and Murrabit played out a thrilling finale to their seasons in Saturday’s 16th round of the Golden Rivers Football League’s senior footy season.
The Hay team raced to a 40-27 lead by half-time in the Pride Match on Hay’s turf.
It was 9-7 in the third in favour of the home team.
Murrabit played a brilliant final quarter to score 4.4 to 2.3, but it was Hay which held on for a 64-62 victory.
Nathan Wilson and Daniel Stewart led Hay’s attack on three and two goals.
