League Preview | Woorineen hosts Saturday’s start to the Central Murray Football Netball League’s footy finals when qualifying finals will be played.
In the 3SH-backed senior footy, Cohuna Kangas take on Woorinen. The Kangas will start favourite to chalk up win number three against the Tigers and hop into a second semi-final showdown with Kerang.
Cohuna and Woorinen met on Good Friday in the seventh round. The Tigers led 62-28 at half-time of the clash at home, but the Kangas scored 50-15 in the third and 40-28 in the last to win 113-105.
The Cohuna attack was led by Rhys Free and Riley Hird, four; Jack Donat, three; and Patrick Doyle, two.
