Match Preview | Wandella and Murrabit will fight to break their season ‘duck’ in Saturday’s third round of senior footy in the Golden Rivers Football Netball League.
The Wandella Bombers have home-ground advantage for the clash which starts at 2.25pm. In round two, Wandella was on the end of 108-58 loss on Ultima’s turf. The Bombers will be looking for more scoring output after Mitch Collins was the only multiple goalkicker against the Roos on two.
One of the most daunting tasks for Wandella will be at full-back. Jarred Schlitz was named to line up against Murrabit’s gun recruit Damian Cupido. A five-goal haul by Cupido against Hay has him leading the league’s goalkicking race on 11.
