Match Reviews | Ultima staged a brilliant final quarter fightback to beat Moulamein in Saturday’s 14th round of Golden Rivers FNL senior footy action.
The Kangaroos faced an 11-point deficit at the start of the final term against the Swans at Ultima.
Accuracy was a key factor as Moulamein scored four goals straight in the first half and Ultima racked up 4.9.
Moulamein turned the contest in a big way as it slammed on 4.4 to 1.2 in the third term to lead 52-41 at three quarter-time.
The Kangaroos bounced back brilliantly to score 6.3 to 2.3 in the last for an 80-67 victory.
Ryan Devereux led Ultima’s attack on three goals as Kyle Symons added two.
Beau Duggan-Hulands booted a match-high five goals for Moulamein as Andy Silva kicked two.
Best for Ultima were Jake Foster, Mitchell Seton-Stewart, Sam Coffey, Caillum Brady, Thomas Bull and Zac Cattlin.
Luke Shannon, Blake Azzopardi, Amos Farrell, Morgan Turvey, Cody Storm and Andy Silva shone for the Swans.
