Match Previews | Looking ahead to the Round 5 action there is plenty on the line already early on in the 2024 season. 

With contender or pretender status still up in the air there is everything to play for come Saturday. The underdog tag won't phase Gary Learmonth's Redan given their recent record over the reigning premiers. And nor will the venue!

For the record the Lions have won four of the last five meetings between the two sides, three of those as underdogs and on three occasions at Darley Park.

The youthful Redan lineup set with the tough assignment will include as many as 10 players still eligible for the Under 19's. Rest assured they're not coming for the experience, rather every intention of winning.

Unfortunately for the Lions I can't see the result ending in anything but an experience. Since the Devils’ upset loss at the hands of Redan (Round 10, 2023).
