Match Reviews | The Lions belted the Tigers as Hay took on Macorna in Saturday’s eighth round of senior footy in te Golden Rivers competition.

Hay was on home turf and dominated play.

The Lions raced to a 39-point lead by quarter-time and then scored 6.4 in the second.

As Hay slammed on 12.7 it kept the Tigers scoreless in the first half.

Macorna did goal in the third term, but by the end of it Hay led by 110 points.

It was a ruthless performance by the reigning premier as it added 10.6 to a goal in the last to complete a 170-point victory.

Leading goalkickers in Hay’s score of 28.16 (184) were Declan Watson, 12; Kenneth Jubb, five; Jensen Hargreaves, three; Jack Headon and Jacob Watson, two.

Macorna’s goalkickers were Ryan Dee and Will Meharry.

Best on an outstanding day for Hay were Declan and Jacob Watson, Jack Cattanach, Jack Headon, Jensen Hargreaves and Kenneth Jubb.
