Match Reviews | Murrabit marked its third win of the season as it held on for a two-goal victory at Macorna in Saturday’s 12th round of the Golden Rivers senior footy action.

It was a closely-fought contest in the Tigers’ den.

The Blues led 21-20 at quarter-time before Macorna scored a goal and kept the visitors to a tally of two points in the second term.

At a quarter to play it was the yellow and black which led 33-32.

Murrabit finished the contest with plenty of run and was rewarded with a score of 2.2 as the Tigers added a behind.

At the final siren Murrabit led 46-34.

The Blues’ attack was led by Sam Copland and Pras Sayakhot on two goals.

Multiple goalkickers for Macorna were Malcolm Neiwand and Lachlan Ritchie on two.
