Match Reviews | Cohuna Kangas have jumped to the sixth rung on the senior footy ladder Saturday’s round 13 action in the Radio 3SH-backed Central Murray competition.
The Jack Geary-coached Kangas are now just a win and seven per cent behind fifth-placed Balranald at five rounds to go in the home-and-away series.
Cohuna played inspired football on its turf to beat Tyntynder by 10 goals.
The Kangas led 34-30 at half-time and then slammed on seven goals as it kept the Bulldogs to a tally of three points in the third quarter.
Captain Joel Helman, Jacob Mitchell and Xavier Mitchell all kicked four goals as Cohuna charged to a 104-44 victory.
Tyntynder’s attack was led by Justin Ellis and Jayden Magro on two each.
Best for Cohuna were Xavier Mitchell, Jackson Williams, Joel Helman, Jack Geary, Jacob Mitchell and Cooper McLoughlan.
