Match Reviews | Donald marked its best win of the Goldacres North Central season as it fought on for a one-point win at Sea Lake in Saturday’s 15th round of senior footy action.

The Josh Potter-coached Donald led 15-4 at quarter-time and 39-20 by the main break on Sea Lake Nandaly’s turf at Sea Lake.

As the Royals capitalised on attacks to score 6.3 in the first half, Sea Lake Nandaly rued missed chances as it went to the break on a score of 2.8.

A closely-fought third term went the way of the Tigers, 20-19.

Sea Lake Nandaly Tiger did plenty of attacking in a dramatic final quarter.

As the yellow and black scored 3.5, Donald was kept scoreless.

The Royals led 58-57 when the siren sounded.

Noah Berry led Donald’s attack on three goals as Harry Forrest, Hayden Geddes, Blake Grant, Ryan Bath, Jesse Wallin and Ross Young added one each.
