Central Murray FNLMatch Reviews | THE Woorinen Tigers defeated Nyah Nyah West United on Anzac Day to kick off round three in the Radio 3SH-backed Central Murray senior football competition.

The Demons and Tigers played under lights at Nyah Recreation Reserve.

Woorinen made a great start to lead 19-8 at quarter-time and 33-16 by the main break.

It was a closely-fought third term in the slippery conditions which went the way of the yellow and black, 10-8.

Inspired by the play of Lachlan Gardner, Blake Reid and Jye Barry, Woorinen took the premiership points in a 52-31 result.

Will Collicoat and Daniel Mase kicked two goals for Woorinen.

Best for a Tigers’ team coached by Tim Free included Henry Thompson, Taylor Cameron and Jose Miliado.

Joel Campbell, Jordan Iudica, Cooper Andrews, Brady Davidson, Jaydyn Stirling and Joel Walsh were best for the Corey Daniels and Jason Murphy-coached NNWU Demons.

On Saturday, Tooleybuc Manangatang marked a 115-58 win at Lake Boga.

The Brad Morris-coached Saints charged to a 29-7 lead by quarter-time and still held a four-goal buffer by the long break.
