Central Murray FNLMatch Review | THE quest for back-to-back premierships for Nyah Nyah West United in the Radio 3SH-back senior footy competition in the Central Murray rolls on.

A four-point win for the reigning premier in last Saturday’s preliminary final against Mallee Eagles put the NNWU Demons into a grand final showdown with Woorinen.

The Demons faced a huge challenge in the Eagles’ nest in Lalbert.

Nyah Nyah West United kicked away to a 28-14 lead by quarter-time.

Term two was dominated by the Demons.

As the red and blue scored four goals it kept Mallee to a tally of 1.3.

By half-time NNWU led 56-23.

Quarter three went the way of the Eagles, 25-15.

Mallee kept on fighting and scored 4.2 in the last, but the Demons score of 1.1 was enough to clinch a 78-74 victory.
