BALLARAT Football League has named an initial training squad of 47 to prepare for its AFL Victorian country championships match against Goulburn Valley at Shepparton on Saturday, May 24.

New coach Shane Skontra will oversee the first training session at Eureka Stadium on Tuesday, May 6.

St Patrick's College - Sunday, May 18

Darrley - Tuesday, May 20

Eastern Oval - Thursday, May 22

The squad, which has representatives from all 11 clubs, features six young development players.
