Bendigo Advertiser | CHRIS Tarrant isn't fazed by how many goals he kicks for Maryborough on Friday, just as long as he provides a strong focal point up forward for his young team-mates to kick to.
And hopefully, those team-mates can learn a thing or two from playing alongside the 34-year-old.
Tarrant - who played 268 AFL games for Collingwood and Fremantle - will line up for Maryborough in its Bendigo Football League season-opener against Castlemaine at Barkers Oval Princes Park on Friday.
"I understand Maryborough finished towards the bottom end of the ladder last year and is going through a bit of a transition period in terms of age," Tarrant said on Thursday.
