Bendigo Advertiser | THE Heathcote District Football-Netball League has released its training squad ahead of its AFL Victoria Country Championships battle with the Central Murray league.
Heathcote and Central Murray will clash in a twilight game at the Queen Elizabeth Oval on Saturday, May 23.
Heathcote, which will be coached by Rick Coburn, is ranked No.18 and Central Murray No.17.
The training squad features 47 players, with Colbinabbin, Leitchville-Gunbower and North Bendigo all having seven selected.
The first training session will be held at Epsom-Huntly Recreation Reserve next Tuesday from 6.30pm.
The selection committee has kept the option to add to the list depending on injuries.
Heathcote last year defeated Horsham District by five points in their inter-league match.
