AFL BarwonK rock | Concerns over the viability and management of a cap of 150 people at outdoor venues has resulted in AFL Barwon calling off this weekend’s planned return to competition for Geelong and Bellarine League open age football and netball.

The local governing body had every intention of returning to play for the first time since the weekend of May 22-23 on Saturday.

However, AFL Barwon says there remains uncertainty around whether the 150-cap included players and officials from both football and netball.
