Geelong FNLk Rock Football | Co-coach Travis Robertson was the first to admit St Mary’s wasn’t at its best as it battled past Geelong West for a 43-point win at Anthony Costa Oval on Sunday afternoon.

After conceding the first behind of the game, the Saints were never headed as they maintained their unbeaten 2022 record and extended their GFL-record unbeaten streak to 27 matches.

However, the 13.13 (91) to 6.12 (48) victory came at a cost, with key defender Trent McMullan suffering a hamstring injury.

Co-coach Robertson knows despite being warm premiership favourites, St Mary’s still has some fine-tuning to do in its game.
