Geelong FNLk Rock Football | St Joseph's can start planning for a seventh-consecutive finals appearance after overcoming Grovedale and challenging conditions at Drew Oval to claim its 10th win of the season.

Joeys sit two games and more than 30 percentage points clear of the Tigers with three rounds remaining following the 9.9 (63) to 6.7 (43) victory.

Despite Grovedale and South Barwon needing to go undefeated for the remainder of the season and have St Joseph’s drop all three matches, coach Paul Carson isn’t concerning himself with finals just yet.

“It’s our spot to lose,” he said. “If we can’t finish fourth or fifth from this point, we don’t deserve to be there.
