Bendigo FNLK Rock Football | Four goals from Darcy Lang proved the difference as Colac snapped a four-game losing streak against South Barwon.

The former Geelong and Carlton player proved too hard to handle for the Swans, as the Tigers climbed to within percentage of the top five with a 25-point victory at McDonald Reserve, 9.13 (67) to 6.6 (42).

Colac jumped to a 17-point lead at quarter time and never surrendered its advantage to last year’s grand finalists. Defender Jarrod Walters was also impressive, as was former Geelong Falcon Jal Makuey and big man Zach Zdybel.

Team of the Year defender Jack Driver’s ability to go forward and kick goals was again on display for South, who was missing captain Matt Caldow (hamstring) among a host of key players.

Driver finished with two majors, while debutant Max Mawson gave Swans fans a rare highlight when he hit the scoreboard in the first quarter.
