And on Saturday, Jack Sarcevic did his bit for the family name with a late goal that helped his team overcome a 22-point deficit to snatch a one-point win over Newtown & Chilwell.
As the two clubs came together for the third annual Zoe Kennedy Tribute Match on a perfect autumn afternoon, the Dragons and Eagles delivered a contest befitting of the day.
However, Sarcevic had the final say, with his fifth major from a free kick just inside 50m, giving Bell Park a 14.10 (94) to 14.9 (93) victory.
“I’m pretty happy with my distance. But accuracy, not so much,” he told krockfootball.live in the immediate aftermath.
“I’ve been having a bit of trouble in front of goals in recent times.
“I’m pretty happy it sailed through in the end.”
