Match Previews | Drysdale has welcomed back experienced trio James Breust, Nick Egan and Tom Ruggles for a crucial clash with Modewarre at Drysdale Recreation Reserve.
The Hawks need a win to ensure they’re inside the top three entering the second half of the season.
A victory would also open up a three-game gap on the sixth-placed Warriors.
Breust has told K rock Football’s Beyond the Boundary podcast that Drysdale is chasing consistency after a disappointing loss to Geelong Amateur and a gritty win over Ocean Grove since the bye.
“We had a really tough game against Ammos a couple of weeks ago,” he said.
“They got the better of us in the last quarter; they’re a really slick outfit.
“Modewarre, they’re always a tough, contested team and hard to beat, so we’ve got to be on the ball on Saturday.”
