Geelong District FNLK Rock Football | A spectator who struck a player during last Saturday’s Werribee Centrals-North Geelong match at Galvin Park has been banned from attending GDFNL matches for three years.

The sanction, which includes League functions, was handed down at last (Wednesday) night’s meeting of the GDFNL executive.

The man – believed to be the parent of a current Centrals player but not a club member – left Magpies captain Zac Schwennesen with a black eye during the second-quarter incident.

The ban on attending matches follows those imposed by Werribee Centrals and North Geelong.

GDFNL president Neville Whitley says he has spoken with the spectator.
