K Rock Football | Werribee Centrals coach Rhyce Prismall is confident his team is peaking at the right time as it prepares for its first final in five years against the Belmont Lions.
The Centurions 14-4 win-loss record is their best return since 2011.
Despite two of those losses coming in the season’s final month, Prismall’s men were in the box seat for a top-three finish after a six-game winning streak to round out the first half of the season.
“I really feel like we’re on the up at the right time, (and) we’ve hit momentum at the right time,” he said.
“We’re starting to get almost a full list back together.
“We’ll continue to learn; every week, we’re learning. We’re trying to get better whether we win, lose or draw.
“This is just another stepping stone to where we want to get to.”
