Bellarine FNLK Rock Football | Marquee Surf Coast signing Aaron Black is planning for his stint with the club to last longer than the club’s inaugural season in the Bellarine League.

The former Geelong and North Melbourne player was unveiled by the Suns last week as they prepare to join the competition in 2026.

“I’d love it to be more (than one year), but we’ll see how my body goes,” Torquay-based Black said.

“I’ve had a couple of surgeries here and there, but with my role at the Cats operations, I get out on the track and help with a little bit of development coaching.

“So, you stay active, and you have to get out there and wrestle with them, run against them, and do things like that. I’m very lucky in that regard, that I have to keep fit to do that.

“I still feel like I’m at a level where I can play some good footy at that level.

“I’ll take it year by year, but hopefully it’s a bit longer.”
