K Rock Football | Geelong Amateur and Anglesea have both made tough selection calls ahead of tomorrow’s Bellarine grand final at Grinter Reserve.

Ammos and the Roos have taken advantage of the Geelong Falcons’ exit from the Talent League finals series, including Archer Hanegraaf and Charlie Lawless, respectively.

Hanegraaf was one of three players to feature in every Falcons game this year, but also made three appearances for Geelong Amateur at senior level, most recently in the Round 14 win over Drysdale.

He replaces fellow youngster Tom Ward.

After suffering an early-season injury, Lawless returned to football in early August with Geelong College, before splitting his time between the Falcons and Anglesea, playing with the Roos in Round 17 and 18.

He comes into the team along with veteran defender Jordan Harrison.

Harrison suffered a hamstring injury in the elimination final win over Drysdale, but has proven his fitness, and will get first crack at league-leading goalkicker Mitch Day.

Ryan Baker was unable to overcome what coach Jordan Keras labelled “a decent corkie” after the preliminary final win over Torquay.

Ethan Barry, who made 12 senior appearances this year, was omitted.
