SOUTH Barwon star Sam Stavenuiter will front the Football Geelong tribunal on Monday after being reported for striking in last week's semi-final win over Grovedale.
In the first case of its kind, Stavenuiter was reported after Grovedale asked the umpires to review video footage of three incidents.
All three incidents featured the South Barwon star, however only one was deemed reportable, Geelong Football Umpires League director of umpiring Scott McLeod said.
The Swans ruckman was reported for allegedly striking Cameron Young in South Barwon's 35-point win at West Oval.
A suspension would put Stavenuiter out of the GFL grand final with South Barwon having the bye this week before playing the winner of Grovedale and Bell Park in the decider.
Stavenuiter, who earlier this year took a one-week suspension for striking James Linton, polled the most votes for the Swans at the league's Mathieson Medal count.
