THE fallout to last weekend’s fiery BFL match between Geelong Amateur and Anglesea has deepened, with Anglesea asking AFL Barwon to look into an off-the-ball incident.

The Roos have requested a league investigation alleging Daniel Midolo was on the receiving end of misconduct from an Ammos player.

In a testy match, Ammos veteran Travis Robertson received a three-match suspension at the tribunal on Monday night for striking Midolo during the first quarter.

The Roos allege Midolo was then targeted by another Ammos player when he was lying on the ground following the Robertson strike.

It comes as Geelong Amateur requested a league investigation on Tuesday into how Jarrod Westwood sustained a broken jaw and dislodged teeth in unrelated incidents.

In other cases, AFL Barwon has confirmed it had wrapped up its investigation into an incident in which an under-18 player was hospitalised in late May.

Paramedics were called to Herne Hill Reserve after a St Joseph’s Colts player was left convulsing in a division four game against Newtown & Chilwell.

The league investigating officer found that no player had a case to answer.

However, the Joeys runner was charged with conduct unbecoming for his reaction following the incident.

His tribunal hearing has been adjourned until he is able to attend.

The GDFL has also completed its long investigation into the fracas that followed the Geelong West and Belmont match in Round 2.

League secretary Alan Moore said both clubs were issued with $1000 fines, suspended until the end of next season.
