hfl1The Standard | Camperdown playing coach Phil Carse and Warrnambool midfielder Tim McIntyre have committed to interleague, barring injury.

Their support is a massive boost for incoming coach Chris McLaren, who is charged with nursing Hampden back to health following its history-breaking 125-point loss to Ovens and Murray last year.

The Bottle Greens will host Murray on May 23. Carse and McIntyre arrived in the south-west in the off-season with big reputations following impressive careers at state level.

Carse played at VFL club Box Hill Hawks before carving a distinguished career at NEAFL club Redland.

McIntyre played one AFL game for Adelaide in 2012 during his two-year stint on the Crows’ list.

He lined up for SANFL powerhouse Central Districts in 2014 following four years at Sturt.

McLaren said Carse and McIntyre would give the Bottle Greens firepower in the midfield and up forward.
