Weekly Times | LEONGATHA’S undefeated record in the Gippsland league will be tested this weekend.
According to league historian Paul Carter, Leongatha and Sale have 25 wins apiece from the 50 occasions they have clashed at Leongatha, but Sale has the edge over the Parrots in the overall head-to-head — 55-51 and two draws.
The Parrots have won only two of their past 10 matches against Sale, and Leongatha’s win in their last meeting in Round 14 last year ended Sale’s seven-match winning streak against them.
