The Standard |KOLORA-Noorat has emerged as the major threat to Warrnambool and District league A grade netball flag favourite Old Collegians.
The Power extended its winning streak to seven and rose to second on the ladder thanks to a 46-34 win against Dennington at Noorat Recreation Reserve.
Goal attack Linda Clifford shot 25 goals while centre Faye Clarke and goal defence Laura Bourke also featured among its best players.
Power coach Glenice Justin was also pleased with the efforts of Ellen Hopkins and Brooke Hoare, who showed signs they could become A grade regulars.
"For this season it was one of our best wins," Justin said. "I won't say last year as well because that Merrivale (elimination final) was pretty awesome.
"But it was one of the best games we've put together as a team since I've been coaching for the last one-and-a-half years."
The result has given rise to the prospect of an upset when the Power meets the unbeaten Warriors for a second time, at home in round 15.
"We're growing in confidence. Collegians are an amazing side and very well drilled. I'd love to have a go at them," Justin said.
"The way we're playing, I'd love to see where we're at. Last time we played them they showed us a lesson.

"But we're definitely playing better netball than then. Whether we're up to beating them, that's to be seen."
Katie Burt led the Dogs' scoring with 29 goals. Goal defence Kristie Bolden, wing defence Ebony Stacey and goal keeper Sarah Jacobs were their best.
Elsewhere, Nirranda continued its march towards finals with a 47-35 win against Merrivale at Nirranda Recreation Reserve.
The Blues, who have won two one-goal thrillers this season, are equal on points with fifth-ranked Allansford. But a lower percentage has them in seventh.
Old Collegians moved 10 points clear on top with a 67-44 defeat of South Rovers in a high-scoring affair at Water Oval.
Deakin University scored its fourth win of the season in emphatic fashion, accounting for Russells Creek 52-29 at Mack Oval.
Allansford defeated East Warrnambool 79-21 at Allansford Recreation Reserve. The Cats' healthy percentage has them in the box seat to play finals.
