A disappointed Leitchville-Gunbower will look forward to next week's bye after coming up short against an ominous Lockington-Bamawm United today, with the Cats winning 18.11 (119) to 9.7 (61).

There were some interesting results in Murray League Football last week. Numurkah scored a much needed victory over fellow finals aspirants Moama. Mulwala were made to work extremely hard to gain the 4 points against Deni Rams and Nathalia pushed Echuca United for 3 quarters before eventually going down by 26 points. In other matches Finley, Cobram and Tongala all recorded comfortable victories.

With clubs set to embark on the second half of the season, the mid-year report card is complimentary of a number of sides. While others who were touted as early season potential premiership contenders have found themselves off the mark.
