League News | FAIREST and best awards in this season’s netball in the Bendigo Bank Bendigo FNL were spread across four clubs.
Counting of votes and declaration of winners and runners-up was held on Monday night on Fresh fm 101.5.
The Holborn Medal for A-reserve was won by Kangaroo Flat’s Ella Wicks on 25 votes.
Runner-up was Sandhurst’s Elle Gilchrist on 17 votes.
It was closely-fought duel for the Bingham Medal in B-grade.
Gisborne’s Olivia Fenn took honours on 20 votes.
Joint runners-up were South Bendigo’s Paige Campbell and Gisborne’s Rylee Connell on 18 votes.
Kangaroo Flat team-mates Megan Kelly and Sophie Ingram went one-two in the B-reserve medal as they polled 19 and 17 votes.
Just four votes was the final margin in the Sing Medal for 17-and-under netball.
A tally of 26 earnt Ese Phillips from Sandhurst the award as Kangaroo Flat’s Peyton Chambers was runner-up on 22 votes.
