Mid Gippsland
- Boolarra and Morwell East also drew their last round in the regular season. Morwell East will meet Yinnar in the Elimination Final this weekend.

The Melton South Football and Netball Club have appointed Matthew Sutton as the senior Football Coach for season 2013.
Matthew Sutton has been a decorated player in the Ballarat Football League for more than 10 years and recipient of numerous awards, including; Henderson Medal (2002), Tony Lockett senior goal kicking award (2011), Team of the Year (5 times).
Sutton came to South in 2002 after playing 87 senior games with the Werribee Tigers Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Sutton was named Captain of Melton South's Team of the Decade 2000 to 2009.
"Its an honour to have the opportunity to coach the Melton South Football Club next year and continue to develop our young playing list", Sutton said.
"Our young players are amongst the most talented in the competition and it's a credit to Shane (Geddes) and the coaching staff for fast-tracking their development. Helping to develop young players on and off the field was one of the key reasons why I was interested in the role".
Sutton takes the helm from Shane Geddes who will continue to be involved with the Panthers in 2013 as the Football Manager.
"I've really enjoyed coaching the boys for the past two years and having the opportunity to return back to the Club that I grew up playing for. This is a great Club which has been unlucky not to have had more Premiership success", Geddes said.
"It was my decision to step aside to allow for a new coach to lead with new ideas and inject some new players to help continue the work we have done over the past couple of years. Sutton has been a strong leader on the field and I'm fully supportive of the club's appointment and I look forward to being part of the club next year", Geddes said.
"Shane has the highest integrity and passion for this club and the Committee respected his decision. We are very excited about Matthew (Sutton) being our senior coach next year and helping our club turnaround its fortunes in its 40th year ", Tyrone Charge, President Melton South Football and Netball Club.

The North Melbourne FC has been very supportive of Ballarat FNL events over this period which has seen representation from the club at Interleague jumper presentations, awards nights and season launches. To celebrate the partnership between both organisations, we are dedicating this weekend's round of matches to the work the North Melbourne FC is doing in the Region in the hope that one day they will be able to play for premiership points in Ballarat, and to further promote our support for an increased presence for the North Melbourne FC in the greater Ballarat region in the future.
North Melbourne has a lot in common with the Ballarat Football Netball League. Not only are they aligned to Ballarat's only VFL team, the North Ballarat Roosters, they also have a couple of well known faces on their list who have competed in the Ballarat Football Netball League at either senior or junior level. Drew Petrie played all of his junior football with the Ballarat Football Club and still to this day has family involved with the club where it all started for him back in the 1990's. Drew has gone to develop into one of the AFL's biggest names whilst also having the honour of being named joint Vice Captain of the Kangaroos in 2012. With 214 games to his name, Drew's highest accolade in the game so far came last year when he was named in the All-Australian squad as one of the best 22 players in the competition.
Cameron Richardson is the other local boy on the North Melbourne list with Ballarat ties. Cameron played a lot of his junior football with the North Ballarat Junior Football Club before graduating into the club's senior ranks and playing a number of seasons with the North Ballarat City FC in the both the Bendigo FL and Ballarat FL. Cameron caught the eye of the North Ballarat Roosters whilst playing local senior football and was soon after provided with an opportunity to play VFL football. Cameron's solid form at VFL level earned him a spot on the North Melbourne list where he remains today. One of the ambassadors for the relationship between the Ballarat Football Netball League and the North Melbourne FC, Cameron has played 8 games at AFL level so far and is sure to add to that tally going forward despite having an injury riddled 2012 season.

In very tricky conditions, the VCFL clearly won the contest at every change to retain the Under 19 Challenge Cup.
The VCFL ran out 50 point winners at Sportscover Arena in front of a large and appreciative crowd from both the country and the city.
The VCFL led by 20 points at half time and had certainly won the battle in the heavily contested match, transferring play from defense to attack with better precision and flair.
The Ammos came out full of run after the half time break and got within 4 points before the VCFL boys steadied into the breeze to lead by 11 points at the last break.
The last quarter saw the floodgates open with the VCFL boys kicking 6 goals and keeping the VAFA goalless with dogged defense and excellent run and spread.
Nathan Muratore from Gembrook was awarded the Peter Knights Medal for best player for the VCFL after an impressive performance in a very tight and well balanced backline for the VCFL.
Matt Tabener from Myrtleford was awarded the Best Player Award from the VAFA coaching panel. Tabener was the dominant forward in the match, taking a number of towering marks in the forward line and kicking 3 goals.

The Bendigo Bank Bendigo Football Netball League has been working hard to support each club in their accreditation into the Australian Drug Foundation's ‘Good Sports' program.
The ‘Good Sports' program, which promotes the responsible serving of alcohol through a 3 tiered accreditation process, was established in 2000 and now has over 5,000 clubs Australia wide registered in the program.
BFNL Chief Executive Officer Steven Oliver said "All BFNL clubs have been working towards initial registration in the program, before commencing the gradual progression through the 3 tiers of accreditation.
"We are delighted that all BFNL clubs have committed to the program, which ensures they will all have policies and procedures in place regarding; responsible serving of alcohol, creating smoke free and family inclusive environments" Mr Oliver said.
Sports Focus Project Coordinator Tamarra Speechley added "it is an important milestone for both the league and the community to have all clubs within one league involved in the Good Sports program. The program isn't about banning alcohol at their games or club functions. It is about managing the supply of alcohol in a responsible way and looking after your members. All the BFNL clubs should be congratulated on their commitment to managing alcohol responsibly within their club environment".
"Each of the BFNL clubs is at a different level of the program, but each club will all be working towards the same goal; to become a Level 3 ‘Good Sports' club and maintain that level of accreditation into the future." Miss Speechley said.
